Sports sponsorship network SNAP Sponsorship approached Lab to take their website to the next level, making it a key function of the company’s growing business strategy.

SNAP were looking to create a platform where clubs and sponsors could make connections, promote themselves and secure sponsorship with minimal effort. The aim of the project was to build a website that enabled users to effectively engage target audiences while amplifying reach.

A Key Marketing Tool

Lab’s experienced Project Manager, Jack Lewis, was responsible for the delivery, and he describes it as a challenging but yet intriguing project:

We had the challenge of building a platform that offers a range of exciting features that allows SNAP to manage how their sponsors and clubs interact with the site and also allows for development as the site grows. We're excited to see it grow and become a key marketing tool in SNAP Sponsorship's business!”

The result

The project resulted in a more social, instant and functional website. Using Drupal as the platform, Lab designed a website with key features including subscriptions, notifications, multiple users, social logins, contracts and profiles, to name a few.

The main focus of the new SNAP Sponsorship site is to attract sponsors and clubs to sign up to SNAP's sponsorship procurement programs, and offer them the ability to interact with each other whilst finding all relevant sponsorship information they need in one location.

In the first two months since the site launch, the number of visits from SEO increased by over 82% and the number of pages viewed by SEO visitors has increased by a staggering 240%.

The amount of time spent on the site has increased five-fold and bounce rate has decreased over 10% - all figures which the team expect to improve as the site matures.
