LAB presented its first-ever ‘Ask Us Anything’ Brunch & Learn event as they answered questions submitted by you. The panel focused on the topic of Replatforming and Migrations, and how your brand can improve performance, increase scalability, enhance security, and reduce costs; just some of the benefits of why migration and replatforming can help you to optimise your brand’s website.

We were joined by the Senior Marketing Manager at Nido Living, as they shared their client story on their reasons for replatforming, discussing the challenges with their existing platform and why replatforming was the best decision for their business.

Mike Steer - Technical Director

With 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Mike has risen from a junior developer in his first web role, to become Technical Director at LAB, a leading digital and creative agency. Having worked across various industries, Mike has led numerous technical projects over the past 15 years. This diverse background equips him with a deep understanding of technology's role in driving business objectives. Mike's focus on bringing innovative solutions to solve client pain points with a real human first lense is what drives him.

Tim Griffiths - Head of Engineering

Tim has been with LAB for over 13 years, leading the development for all Azure platform and .net projects. He has architected solutions based on everything from multiple CMS platforms to the latest serverless and cognitive service solutions in Azure, and received industry recognition by being awarded with the Sitecore Technology MVP 6 years running. Tim also holds certifications in Contentful and Contentstack

Steve Radjen - Client Services Director

With over 40 years of experience, Steve sees his role as the client's ears, eyes, and mouth within the agency. He bridges the gap between client vision and agency execution. By developing strategies aligned with business goals, he ensures every touchpoint contributes to overall client success. His expertise ensures strategies align with business goals, fostering growth and sustained success. His vast industry knowledge helps foster a collaborative environment where innovative solutions thrive.

Romy Levin - Senior Marketing Manager

Romy oversees the Marketing of the Nido brand across European markets and ensures that occupancy targets are met and exceeded year on year via the implementation of strategic marketing plans and tactical activity. She brings a wealth of experience in e-commerce and property marketing, having worked in PBSA and residential real estate development in the UK and Europe since 2014. With a passion for sustainability, she has co-founded Nido’s Environment Committee, and also leads on Nido’s partnership with Psychologist Dr Tara Quinn Cirillo.
