Driving 18k professional qualifications through rapid-deployment digital upskilling for CIMSPA

The UK’s sport and physical activity sector risked losing 30k of skills professionals as a result of facility closures and qualifications expiring.
The CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) needed to act quickly to engage, upskill, and motivate the workforce to remain in the sector.
OUR SOLUTION
Applying our "Behaviour Before Build" framework under intense time pressure, we partnered with CIMSPA and Sport England to conceive ReTrain. This bespoke web application was engineered to stabilise a workforce in crisis by intelligently connecting individuals with the exact skills needed to future-proof their careers.
We adopted an agile, integrated "one-team" methodology to launch a fully functional MVP in just four weeks, ensuring the platform was live when the sector needed it most.
We built a sophisticated matching algorithm that processed complex geographical and socio-economic data points in real-time. By weighting results for relevance and proximity, we replaced a confusing manual search process with a frictionless, personalised path to re-qualification. The solution provided tailored interfaces for admins, training providers, and employers, ensuring that every stakeholder in the lifecycle had the precise data views needed to drive the initiative forward.
